Dear Editor,
FACT-Every Republican recount of the 2020 election, and there were several in some states, showed the same result. Joe Biden won over Donald Trump sometimes with a few more votes than the first count.
FACT -More than 60 judges nationwide, many of them Republican, some appointed by Trump, refused to overturn the election.
FACT-The US Supreme Court which has a 6-3 Republican majority and three Trump appointees, refused to take up the case.
FACT-Trump’s former Attorney General Bill Barr obediently did
Trump’s bidding until Trump insisted he won the election. Barr called his boss’s claim a more colorful term than nonsense. Shortly afterward Barr resigned.
FACT-A recent investigation fiananced by Trump to find fraud in the 2020 election reported that Joe Biden won.
Nobody has yet come forward with a shred of evidence that the election was stolen. Many conspiracy theories have been pushed, many of them ludicrous, all debunked. In one case Rudy Guilliiani even admitted to an Arizona official “We have lots of theories, but no evidence.”

There were no Italian military satellites in the sky switching votes from Trump to Biden, a theory pushed by US representative Jim Jordan.
The “Cyber Ninjas” hired by Republicans in Arizona to dig out corruption In the election, found no bamboo in the ballots which they claimed would somehow prove Chinese interference in it. Nor were there any Chinese light switches in the counting rooms doing the same.
In Atlanta, election judge Ruby Freeman did not pass to her daughter Shay Moss an ISB port that could somehow alter votes. It was a ginger mint.
Guilliiiani pushed the ISB theory to the point that the pair received so many death threats they were forced to go into hiding. They later sued him and he was found guilty of defamation of character and intentional infliction of pain.
Although these and many other conspiracy theories have been proven groundless, the damage to our country may never be fully repaired. Still many election denying politicians see it to their advantage to placate Trump and keep him on their side, while privately admitting even to reporters that they know better. !t does seem that there is some pulling away, but not really enough.
They pander to their bases and keep the MAGA magic alive.
If election deniers really have any evidence that the election was stolen, putting it baldly, it’s high time they either put up or shut up.
