Virginia J. Lowes, 87, of Perryville, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born in Perryville on June 26, 1936 to Wilbert and Ottana Marie (Michaud) Lawrence.
Virginia was married to Paul Lowes on July 2, 1955 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Perryville.
Virginia was a homemaker, who formerly worked at Sparta Printing and Prince Gardner. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Perryville. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, caring for her family, cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Lowes; Daughter Kendra (James) Rhodes of Perryville; Granddaughters Loren Miller of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Ashlyn Rhodes of Shelbyville, Illinois; Great-grandsons Hunter Groves and Logan Groves of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She is also survived by sisters Velma (Lawrence) Hayden, Verna (Lawrence) DePauw, Reva (Lawrence) Boxdorfer, Wilma (Lawrence) Kline, Willene (Lawrence) Frost and Mary (Lawrence) Flentge. She is survived by brothers Edward (Jim) Lawrence, Roger Lawrence and Ronald Lawrence.
