Vincent Anthony Leible, Jr. 90, of Perryville peacefully passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He was born November 27, 1932 to Vincent Leible, Sr. and Helen (Sauer) Leible.
Vincent and Shirley Cissell were married on September 13, 1958.
He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, American Legion Post #133, and the UAW.
Vincent or Jr. as so many called him was a hard working man all of his life. As a young man he helped install electric poles to areas of the county that did not have that luxury. He was drafted by the United States Army in February of 1953 and was sent to Fairbanks, Alaska. Thankfully the Korean War ended before he had to be deployed. He received his GED while serving his country.
Vincent worked for Huber Oil Company as a gas delivery driver before being employed by General Motors Company as an assembly line worker for more than twenty years. He rode back and forth to St. Louis each day so that his family could stay in Perryville. After retiring form GM, he enjoyed driving the Head Start bus.

Vincent was a kind and gentle man who never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting with his amazing neighbors who always looked after him. He was a huge St. Louis Cardinal fan and rarely missed watching them play. He was meticulous about his yard and vehicles. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends and attending Tuesday morning breakfast at the Vietnam Memorial Wall when he was able. He was a great man, husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa.
