Dorothy Lee Layton, 84, of Perryville, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at her residence.
She was born November 6, 1939 in Jackson, to Fred Albert and Rosa Sophia (Reigh) Brugger.
She and Sylvester Layton were married on April 4, 1964 and married for 60 years. He survives in Perryville.
Dorothy was a Production Lead for Rapco Cable. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, and gardening. She always kept a positive attitude and loved her dogs and her family.
Survivors include son, Paul (Tiffany) Layton of Perryville; two daughters, Mary K. (Chris) Maylor of Star, ID, Barb (Brian) Culver of Sikeston, MO; sister, Martha (Mike) Smith of Jackson, MO; four grandchildren, Beth (Brian) Bolding, Chris (Alex Reid) Ernst, Ashley (Travis) Price, Hannah (Lamar) Gordon, three great grandchildren, Audrey Bolding, Cindy Price, and Jasper Price.
