Glennon Kirn of Bonne Terre, Missouri, was born in Perryville, Missouri, on November 17, 1937, to the late Arthur and Elviera (Gegg) Kirn. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening, hunting and spending time with his girls—his wife to whom he was happily married for 51 years, his daughters and granddaughters. He played golf on Monday and passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Thursday, April 11, 2024, in his cabin by a lake. He was 86 years old.
Glen was preceded in death by his brother, Weldon Kirn. He is survived by his wife Fran, his daughters Lynn Main (Bill) and Leslie Hoosier (Brandon), his brother Norman Kirn (Donna), his sisters Shirley Pelker (Bob) and Darlene Davies, his sister-in-law Cathy Kirn, his granddaughters Jordan and Hailey, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a proud US Navy veteran and a valued employee for 36 years as a machinist at Sunnen Products Co. in St. Louis. Glen donated his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
