Thurman Michael “Mike” Blyzes, 70, of Friedheim, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024 at his residence.
He was born August 20, 1953 in St. Louis City, MO to Thurman E. and Mandy (Hammontree) Blyzes.
Thurman was a retired Locomotive Engineer for BNSF Railroad. He loved hot rodding whatever vehicles he had. He loved corvettes, boats and tractors. He loved spending time with his grandkids. Thurman was very kind and loved helping others. He was also a great story teller.
Survivors include two sons, Thurman “Adam” Blyzes, and Curtis (Salena) Blyzes; brother, William T. (Donna) Blyzes; sister, Mary Belle Wright; three grandchildren, Avery, Christian and Alivia Blyzes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Orville Ray Blyzes.
