On July 3, the Perry County Sheriff’s Office received reports of burglaries at the A&G storage units on Highway T in Perry County.
A security camera captured a good picture of the suspects and the vehicle they were driving, and that picture was shared with the public via social media.
Due to tips coming in to this office Deputies were able to locate the suspects in St. Francis county and positively identify them on Wednesday, July 14.
William Lester, 33, and Brandy Carter, 39, both of Farmington were charged with one count each of felony burglary, felony stealing and misdemeanor property damage, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Lester is being held at the Perry County Sheriff’s Office. Lester is scheduled to appear before Judge Craig Brewer Tuesday, Aug. 31, at 1:30 p.m. at the Perry County Courthouse.
He has been appointed the public defender. Carter had outstanding warrants in St. Francis County and is being held in the jail in Farmington.
“We appreciate the tips and the help we received from the community,” said Perry County Sheriff Gary J. Schaaf.  “When everyone helps to make theirs a safer, crime-free community they can enjoy the community without fear of becoming a victim. Thanks for being extra eyes and ears for us.”
