Sherry E. (Ochs) Morris, 72, of Perryville died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 at her residence.
She was born July 12, 1949 in St. Joseph to Frederick “Fritz” Ochs and Catherine Bader.
She and William “Bud” A. Morris were married at Laguna Beach, Calif. on Aug. 2, 1968.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and VFW Post #4282 and a graduate of St. Vincent High School in 1968.
Sherry loved all animals especially her horses, dogs and cats. She loved the outdoors and boating. Most of all, she was a devoted wife to her husband and a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Samatha (Charles) Ticer of St. Genevieve, Tonie (Manny) Reyna of Peoria, Ariz.; two sons, William “Colt” (Kim) Morris of Royalton, Ill., William “Wade” Morris of Peoria, Ariz.; two brothers, Fred “Joe” (Mary) Ochs of St. Ann, John (Phyllis) Ochs of Corsicana, Texas; four sisters, Sue (Doug) Dunker of Perryville, Sharolyn Brown of Perryville, Sallie (Matt) Mapes of Garden City, Shelley (Keith) Moeckel of Perryville; 14 grandchildren, Derrick, Chauntel, Brandon, William “Dustin”, Maranda, William “Dominic”, William “Tyson”, Abagayle, Nicole, MyraAnn, Rebecca, Dalton, Rachel, William “Devin”, LaRay, Shelley; 19 great-grandchildren; and her best friend since kindergarten, Doris Gibbar Seabaugh.
