The awards keep rolling in for the Perryville Pirates girls soccer team.
Although this one isn't for a player.
Perryville soccer coach Dwayne Hadler was recently named the Missouri Soccer Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year.
It is the first time a Perryville assistant coach has ever earned the award.
"Dwayne brings a great perspective on how to train and he helps out a ton," Perryville head coach Jerry Fulton said. "He's very knowledgeable with what he does."
Hadler was a key part in the success of the Perryville girls squad that finished fourth in Class 2 this past spring.

He is also a mainstay on the boys soccer coaching staff as well.
"Having another person who knows the game is crucial to the success of the program,." Fulton said. "It's probably my fault that he hasn't won this award before because I never reccommended anyone before."
Fulton noted that it's not only he or just the players who should get the credit for such an award.
"We are all in this together," Fulton said. "We have three coaches who are a part of this team. It takes all three of us to get along and make this thing work."
Hadler can be found most week nights helping to coordinate and run the soccer open fields twice per week.
"When we brought Dwayne in it was to take our training to the next level," Fulton said. "He has definetly done that."
