The Perry County Board of Education had a move around their regularly scheduled meeting.
The board of directors met the morning of May 10 due because of severe weather on May 8, the original date of the meeting, that had the possibility of creating tornados and other severe weather.
The board amended the agenda because of the early nature of the meeting.
The board did approve the City of Perryville to permanently obtain 10 ft of Perry County School District 32’s property to install a newer water source for our neighboring community residential homes. It would also provide a future water source to the district if/when future building expansions get approved. The City of Perryville would temporarily occupy 30 ft of district property to install the new up-to-date water source.
The board also discussed the upcoming events as the school year will soon come to a close.
