Norman Paul Reiss, 84, of Perryville passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Independence Care Center in Perryville.
He was born August 24, 1938 in Perryville to Martin C. and Virgie (Gibbar) Reiss.
Norman and JoAnn (Hotop) Reiss were married June 22, 1963 in Perryville. She preceded him on April 2, 2012.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, served in the National Guard and was a member of American Legion Post #133.
He was Farmer and enjoyed bowling and hunting.
Survivors include three sons, Terry (Shannan) Reiss of Perryville, MO, Mark (Theresa) Reiss of Maryland Heights, MO, Warren Reiss of Perryville, MO; four sisters, Shirley Reiss of West Palm Beach, FL, Dorothy Smith of Valparaiso, IN, Doris Dauster of Perryville, June (Kim) Moore of Jackson; four grandchildren, Brandon (Marissa) Reiss, Ethan (Kasey) Reiss, Aleshia (Tucker) Thrower, Nicholas Reiss and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Stephen Reiss; four brothers, Martin, Donald, Harold & Dale Reiss; sister, Theresa Sutterer.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023 and from 8- 9:30 am on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2023 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope in Perryville.
