Mary Ann Rellergert, 88, of Perryville passed away Friday, Feb.12, 2021 at Holiday Residential Care in Perryville.
She was born Nov. 4, 1932 in Apple Creek to Henry W. and Theresia Ann (Baer) Buchheit. She and Linus T. Rellergert were married June 6, 1953. He preceded her in death March 12, 2014.
Mary was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Ladies Sodality.
Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. She loved quilting, gardening and she made a lot of afghans for family members. She loved singing in the church choir, playing cards, praying, cooking, baking and canning.
Survivors include five sons, Michael (Linda) Rellergert of Fruitland, Dale Rellergert of Perryville, Leroy (Oanh Yen) Rellergert of Perryville, David (Peggy) Rellergert of Uniontown, and Roger Rellergert of Florissant; one daughter, Donna (Kevin) Brown of Perryville; six grandchildren, Nathan Rellergert, Tyson Rellergert, Steven Rellergert, Samantha McCallister, Shaun Rellergert and Kyle Brown; and one great-grandchild, Jameson Rellergert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Linus T. Rellergert; five brothers, Louis, Tony, Edgar, Urban, and August; six sisters, Philomena Toye, Anna Welker, Gertrude Welker, Laura Buerck, Rose Buerck and Regina Zoellner. Private services will be held for the family. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek or Serenity Hospice.
