Leo L. Rellergert, 89, of Perryville, MO passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Independence Care Center of Perryville.
He was born May 28, 1934 in Apple Creek, MO to Felix and Helen (Schrempp) Rellergert.
Leo and Mary Ann (Lawrence) Rousseau were married February 17, 2006 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake. She survives in Perryville.
He served in the Army National Guard.
He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Leo worked as a Carpenter for the Mississippi Lime Company. He was a member of Elks Lodge #2701, Amvets Post #94, Perry County Sportsman Club and Little Saline Sportsman Club.
Leo enjoyed building and constructing, fixing old tractors, cooking, and hunting
Survivors include three Sons, Keith (Becky) Rellergert, Brian (Amanda) Rellergert, Randy (Tamara) Rellergert all of Perryville, MO; three Daughters, Debra Rellergert of St. Louis, Darla (Paul) Roemerman of Shawnee, KS, Carla Rellergert of Conifer, CO; Brother, Charlie (Dianne) Rellergert of Cape Girardeau; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Brothers, Aloysius Rellergert, Robert Rellergert, Linus Rellergert; Sisters, Leona Winkler, Alberta Buchheit, Dorothy Wibbenmeyer, Margaret Wibbenmeyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Crown Hospice or Veterans Organization of your choice.
A celebration of life for Leo will be held at a later date. Funeral Military Honors provided by VFW Post 4282 and Delta Team.
