Kenneth P. Weibrecht, 74, Perryville passed away peacefully at Perry County Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Kenneth (Kenny) was born July 20, 1948 to Alvin and Elva (Zahner) Weibrecht.
Kenneth served two years in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was an active member of the Sportsman’s Club, VFW, Amvets, and The American Legion. Kenny enjoyed bird watching, fishing, hunting, the “Cardinals”, Andy Griffith, Gunsmoke and his dog, Charlie. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all were well loved by him. He will be greatly missed.
Kenny is well known in the community as he was a grocery/produce stocker at Rozier’s Food Centre for many years. Kenny was good natured with a smile and always a joke for everyone. He never missed a birthday, anniversary or special occasion by consistently sending thoughtful greeting cards which were greatly appreciated.

In addition to his parents, Kenny was proceeded in death by two brothers, David and Gary Weibrecht. Surviving Kenny are his son, Kirk, age 46 (L.A.) Weibrecht of Bloomsdale, MO; his daughter Tammy, age 48 (Keith) McNeal of Castle Rock, CO.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, Charlie.
Kenny’s surviving siblings are Velda (Garry) Walker of Arnold, MO., Larry Weibrecht of Perryville, Dianne (Robert) Denstedt of St. Louis, MO., Sandy (Palmer) Lohmann of Perryville, Karen (LeRoy) Duvall of Ste. Genevieve, MO., and Mark (Caren) Weibrecht of Perryville. He is also survived by three aunts and many nieces and nephews.
