Kenneth A. Hoffman was born April 4, 1940, in Cape Girardeau and was peacefully given to God on July 26, 2023. He was 83 years old. He was born to Ruby C. (Bendel) and Lucius Hoffman.
He was married to Kathleen Boucher Hoffman on December 31, 1976, and raised their family in Springfield, Missouri and Leawood, Kansas. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Craig) Fitt and Andrea (Chris) Chavez and one son, Kyle (Lauren) Hoffman. He is also survived by three sisters, Judy (Mike) Bohnert of Perryville, Nancy (Bob) Fagerberg of St. Louis and Sister Bonnie Hoffman, D. C. of Mobile, AL. Grandchildren are Ganton and Ghia Rothlisberger; Madison and Caleb Chavez; two Step Grandchildren, Lexi (Taylor) Bivins, and Hunter Chavez, and one Great Grandson, Malachi Rothlisberger. He never missed an opportunity to barbecue for the family or to have “poppy” take his grandchildren to get ice cream.

He grew up on a farm in Perry County. After completing diesel vocational school, he joined and was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps. He was a hardworking and successful businessman and salesperson who took pride in his work, loved his partners as family, and flourished with the relationships he cultivated along the years. Those relationships were his ultimate passion and with those, blessed us all with endless happy memories.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, Kathy Boucher Hoffman.
