JoAnn L. Bierk

JoAnn L. Bierk, 80, of Perryville passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born March 13, 1943 in Perryville to Eldred L. and Dina W. (Meyer) Schloss.
JoAnn and C. David Bierk were married September 6, 1969 at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville.
She was a member of Member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 1263 Auxiliary.
She worked for 10 years at Home Trust Mercantile Bank, currently the US Bank Perryville and she was a homemaker.
She loved going to her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals Games.

Survivors include two sons, Kyle Bierk of Perryville, Jacen (Amy) Bierk of Columbia, MO; two brothers, Richard (Chris) Schloss of St. Louis, Wayne (Joy) Schloss of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Allison and Colt Bierk.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service for JoAnn was private.
Burial was at Mt. Hope in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer’s Association or the St.Vincent Educational Foundation for St. Vincent de Paul High School Renovation Project.
