Jean E. Corse, 87, of Perryville died Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born April 7, 1936 in Perryville to Woodrow Wilson and Virda Imogene (Hunt) Schrumpf.
Jean and Kenneth E. Corse were married October 2, 1954. He proceeded her in death on July 5, 2009.
She was a case worker with State of Missouri, a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and Perryville Order of the Eastern Star. She was a dedicated volunteer for numerous organizations in her community.
Survivors include three daughters, Michele K. (William) Aye of Mooresville, NC, Cheryl A. Wibbenmeyer of Perryville, Jan L. (Kevin) Parson of Mooresville, NC; two sisters, Judith Starzinger of Jackson, MO, Carole Dabbs of Tuscumbia, AL; three brothers, Michael (Terri) Schrumpf of Perryville, Edward Schrumpf of Perryville, David (Shirley) Schrumpf of St. Louis; five grandchildren, Craig (Lori), Daniel (Kate), Jessica (Richard) Keith, Alicia; ten great-grand children, Tyler, Riley, Caleb, Reece, Anna, Brody, Mia, Marissa, Mckenzie, Kenlee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, son-in-law, James Wibbenmeyer, two brothers-in-law, Don Starzinger and Jim Dabbs.
