Fealie Hamelback

Fealie “Vern” Hamelback, 72, of Ste Genevieve, formerly of the St. Louis area. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. He passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Riverview at the Park in Ste. Genevieve.
He was born Aug. 3, 1948 in St. Louis to Fealie Vernon Hamelback Sr and Melba Eileen Martin Hamelback.
He and Bobby J. Hamelback were married January 1, 1980. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.
He was in Sales and Management with Custom Fabricating Company in St. Louis. He was a member of Catholic Church of Ste Genevieve, Knights of Columbus Council #1037 in Ste Genevieve & a 4th Degree Knight.
Survivors include son, Stephen (Rebecca) Hamelback of Bismarck; three daughters, Alicia (Brett) Cavanaugh of Ste. Genevieve, Jennifer (Paul) Robinson of Richmond, Vir., Margaret (James) Sieve of Hazelwood, MO; two sisters, Carolyn Sue Nabors (Richard Maples) of Farmington, Sheila (Vic) McIntyre of Bismarck; Brother, Brian (Sherry) Hamelback of Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sister, Pamela Hamelback; and Brother, Charles “Danny” Lashley.
Visitation was on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Catholic Church of Ste Genevieve, Ste. Genevieve.
Funeral Mass was Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Catholic Church of Ste Genevieve with the Rev. Edward Nemeth officiating. Burial was at Valle Springs Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Society or Cardinal Glennon Hospital.
