William “Bill” Henry Bock, 88, of Frohna, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Mercy Perry Hospital.
He was born September 13, 1935 in Frohna to William Albert and Olga Alida (Verseman) Bock.
Bill and Miriam Grace Bock were married July 19, 1958 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Chester. She preceded him in death.
Bill loved his family farm in Frohna and followed Jesus’ footsteps as a carpenter. He was a lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna and was a member of the Men’s Club (LLL), and adult choir. Bill served every day for the Lord. He was an avid volunteer for the Saxon Memorial and served on several church boards. He loved woodworking, fishing, hunting, farming and traveling. Bill especially loved spending time with his granddaughters.
Survivors include daughter, Glenda (Brad) Maevers of Altenburg; son, Wendall (Jenny) Bock of Kansas City; three sisters, Bernice Bunkowske of Nashville, Betty (Ron) Bohnert of Perryville, Nancy (Phil) Graul of Wildwood; four grandchildren, Tera Bock of New Bloomfield, Treena (Danielle) Bock of New Bloomfield, Macie Bock of Kansas City, Mandia Bock of Kansas City. Also survived by special friend Dorothy Hemman of Brazeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Miriam Grace Bock; and four children.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna and will continue from 8:30 am to 9:50 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the church.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna with Rev. Paul Hoemann officiating.
Burial will be at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in Frohna.
Memorial contributions may be given to Saxon Memorial or The Little School Museum.
