V. Georgia Moll

V. Georgia Moll, 90, of St. Mary peacefully passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Independence Care Center of Perry County surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 2, 1934 in Lithium, to Virginius and Nettie (Guyot) Feltz.

Georgia and Wilbert J. Moll were married on January 27, 1951 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lithium. She was a good partner and they were blessed with 73-1/2 years of marriage.

Her husband survives and resides in St. Mary, Missouri.

She was a homemaker. Georgia was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. She loved working in her flower gardens, quilting and walking. Georgia was an incredible cook. As a dedicated farmers wife she worked raking hay, raising hogs and hoeing weeds out of the bean fields. Her devoted husband, children and grandchildren were her life.

Survivors include three sons, Ronald (Sandy) Moll, Dennis (Connie) Moll, Rick (Suzanne) Moll; daughter, Cheryl (Don) Layton; twelve grandchildren, Ronnie (Teresa) Moll, Donnie (Lisa) Moll, Daniel (Lexi) Moll, Collette (Jeff) Pingel, Joseph Moll and friend Samantha Biermann, Dawn Sevier, Chrissy (Brent) Buerck, Nikki (Quent) Robinson, Brian Moll and friend Sarah Boyer, Mark (Brittany) Moll, Josh Delassus and friend Brooke Hogard, Luke Delassus: 29 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter and son-in-law Tammy & Larry Delassus; six sisters, Mary “Sis” Dippold, June Beasley, Jackie Lowes, Rosie Inselman, Anna Mae Moll, Margaret Feltz; two brothers, Calvin Feltz, Bobby Feltz; two grandchildren, Mendy Moll, Eric Moll; two great-grandchildren, Harlee Moll, Braedon Pingel.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Deacon Direk Hunt officiating.

Burial will be at a later date.
