Roger L. Paulus, 92, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at Independence Care Center.
He was born May 22, 1932 in Perryville, MO to Leo B. and Mildred L. (Claussen) Paulus.
He and Margaret (Gregory) Paulus were married at St. Boniface Catholic Church on November 28, 1959.
He served in the United States Navy.
Roger was a graduate from St. Vincent High School. He received his Bachelors degree at University of Missouri Columbia. And then he received his Masters of Education at University of Mississippi in Oxford.
Roger was a teacher at Fox School District for many years.
He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Survivors include son, Bernard Gregory Paulus; five brothers, Mick (Becky) Paulus, Russell (Kathleen) Paulus, Robert (Kathy) Paulus, Jim Paulus, Harold (Rudell) Paulus; two sisters, Elta Cattoor, Mary (Don) Dyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Eileen Paulus, Pauline Tucker; three brothers, Oliver Paulus, Bernard Paulus, Kenneth Paulus.
Visitation was Thursday, May 30, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Funeral Mass was Thursday, May 30, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
Burial was at St. Boniface Cemetery in Perryville.
