Perryville baseball wins big over Leopold

To say that Perryville baseball had a big win, may be an understatement.
The Pirates scored a ton in the first inning, which led to a 21-7 victory over Leopold in five innings on April 5.
Perryville sent 17 batters to the plate in the first inning ans scored 13 runs.
The Pirates scored six more in the fourth and scored in four of the five innings in the game.
Adam Greeen led the way with four hits and an RBI in the game, while Troy O’Keefe had three hits and three RBI for his efforts.
Waylon Huber mustered a pair of hits as well and had four RBI on the day.

Caleb Triller and Eli Derickson had multiple RBI’s in the game as well.
Triller threw four innings in the game and gave up five hits, five runs, walked three, and struck out six.
Logan Hoehn pitched one inning and gave up one hit and two runs.
Perryville struggled to score in the two previous games they had played against Festus, mustering up just a single run in the two games against the conference opponent.
The Pirates had no such problems against Leopold.
The Pirates had 15 hits in the game and took advantage of four Leopold errors.
Perryville played DeSoto on Wednesday and Thursday in another conference matchup, then will play Scott City on April 15.
