Noack steps away from County Disability Resources after 22 years

An important figure who has dedicated 22 years serving those with Developmental Disabilities has decided to step away.
Bryan Noack has decided to step down as Target Case Management Director at County Disability Resources in Perryville.
Noack, a graduate of Southeast Missouri University, decided shortly after the birth of his daughter, Alexis, to dedicate most of his career to the betterment of those with Developmental Disabilities.
Bryan, having worked at the Sikeston Regional Office, gained a deep understanding of services and funding options available for the Developmentally Disabled community.
Noack recognized that, at a county level with community involvement, even more could be accomplished to assist those with Developmental Disabilities.
He decided to leave the regional office and over the next several years began working with counties to develop or improve Targeted Case Management services. Thus, Noack guided counties in best practices and advocacy while working directly with the regional office to best utilize tax dollars for available funding.
Ultimately, this led to increased and improved services for developmentally disabled individuals.

A distraught parent or service provider would commonly call him with a question or problem and he would walk them through options or follow up with key agencies to get the help needed. This was a labor of love and caring, with his daughter’s needs fueling his own passion to make things better for others.
Around 2008, he approached Perry County SB40 with the same managing concept; “do it yourself and you can do it better!” Perry County SB40 (later re-named as Perry County Board for the Developmentally Disabled) answered Bryan recommendation by asking him to oversee the launch of Case Management for Perry County.
Bryan accepted this enormous task and launched County Disability Resources; sharing a single office at the Perry County workshop until growing with leaps and bounds into the CDR facility located at 1404 Corporation Lane.
Along the way, he met with SB40 boards and providers in counties across southeast Missouri that include: Ste Genevie, Madison, Cape Girardeau, Scott, Mississippi, New Madrid, Wayne, Pemiscot, and Dunklin; just to name a few. This embodied a single goal, to guide county government to best utilize funds and raise the awareness of the Developmentally Disabled community.
Over the years, with Noack’s direction, CDR was asked to provide Case Management to New Madrid County and Pemiscot County; blossoming into employing over 20 people. “Bryan has done a magnificent job with CDR and the Senate Bill 40 boards” said New Madrid SB40 Chairperson Steve Lancaster.
Bryan, with his infectious laugh, willingly has shared much of his knowledge, passion, and caring to Support Coordinators and just about everyone he came in contact with.
Never looking for accolades, Noack noted in his announcement “I am deeply grateful and truly humbled to have been gifted this opportunity to serve others”.
Noack’s immediate plans are to have no immediate plans! He will continue to lovingly assist his wife, Jamie, with care for their daughter while enjoying more quality time together.
