Letter to the Editor: Finding silver lining in the pandemic clouds

Posted

Dear Editor:
Bring your Teacher an Apple! Boy those days are long gone it seems but what can we bring to the table today to our School community?
The Pandemic pushed the limits of our awareness, our creativity, our flexibility and tapped the valuable resource of common sense bringing us low in morale and creative energy.
The onslaught of Federal demands, mandates and “Guidance” clouded the well intentioned judgement of so many of those in a position of power.
There is a silver lining in the gray Covid clouds that covered our community and that glimmer of hope is the Parents and Grandparents who have sprung to their feet, those who have children in school TODAY as we speak those are now candidates who are ready to take the baton run the race and hold high the torch today at the school Board for those who have been thru the weary battle and are ready for a well deserved rest.
Education First Candidates are here to drive the Future of District 32 give steady guidance to new Superintendents who embrace our community standards and thrive on solid traditional education that propels students as far as they are driven to go.
