Letter to the Editor: Enough

Posted

Dear Editor,

I learned in my 20s during the Vietnam War that the loudest and most repetitive voices offered strident opinions, but critical thought didn’t always support truth in their opinions. Evaluation didn’t necessary embrace their heated, single-focused screed. A loud, impassioned voice doesn’t always tell the truth.
Repetitive letters to the editor are much the same, like barking dogs, braying donkeys, ringing bells, and broken records.
Are they presenting facts or are they just more noise?
Respectfully submitted,
