Devin Smith and Katlyn Volkert of Perryville announce the birth of their son Leo William Smith. He was born at 8:51 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Perry. He weighed 6 pounds, 6.5 ounces and was 19 inches long. Leo was welcomed home by one brother, Liam, 16 months.
Maternal grandparents are Shawn Volkert and Maggie Robertson of Perryville. Paternal grandparents are Greg Smith and Mary Hapgood of Perryville. Maternal great-grandparents are Mike and Christine Robertson of Perryville. Paternal great-grandparents are Bill and Ruthy Hapgood of Perryville, Joe Smith and Kimberly Wendel of St. Louis.
