Karen “Sue” Rodewald, 70, of Perryville passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at her residence.
She was born Nov. 2, 1951 in Murphysboro, Ill. to Darwin F. and Ruby R. (Amberger) Rodewald.
“Sue” never met a stranger and loved to help those in need. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include two sisters, Janice (Bill) Cole of St. Mary, Nancee (Gary) Favier of Perryville; one brother, Donald (Cheri) Rodewald of St. Mary; granddaughter, Megan Elder of Perryville; grandson, Steven Welty; great-granddaughter, Angel Welty.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Michelle Welty; son, Travis Welty; two brothers, Darwin “Buddy” Allen & Marvin Butch Rodewald.
Graveside Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
