Donald and Julia Welker of Cape Girardeau announce the birth of their daughter Elaina Lucille Welker.
She was born at 6:39 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau. She weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Elaina was welcomed home by three brothers and two sisters. Maternal grandparents are Lisa Bollinger of Glen Allen and Larry Motley of Charleston, SC.
Paternal grandparents are Tonya Claussen-Isreal of Perryville and Donald Welker, Sr. of Dexter.
