Perry County Military History Museum donates plaques

The Perry County Military History Museum was established to pay tribute to those who served and are currently serving the United States military. Many veterans remain proud of their service to the country. The museum offered to partner with Ford and Young Funeral Home to show their appreciation of local veterans military service. Military branch of service plaques were presented to the funeral home on Sept. 2. Ford and Young will offer to display the veteran’s service plaque, free of charge, during veteran viewings and visitations as part of the services they offer to families. There are plaques for Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard and National Guard veterans. The plaque designs, material and presentation box were a joint effort by the museum and Mike Sutterer of Ford and Young Funeral Home.
