Margaret Ruth Joyce, 81, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, June 2, 2023 at Southeast Hospital.
She was born August 22, 1941 in St. Mary to Ed Zelbert and Lena Mabel Worley.
She and Bill Joyce were married at Trinity Baptist Church, St. Mary, MO, in 1985. Ruth was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Ruth always looked at the good side of people. There was no one kinder, sweeter, smiling all the time. She was always optimistic and absolutely loved her family and grandchildren dearly. She always told others, “bless your heart.”
Survivors include three daughters, Kathy (Leslie) Moll of St. Mary, Charlotte McClard of Cape Girardeau, MO; Linda (Tim) Lott of Marshfield, MO, four step-sons, Larry (Jessica) Joyce of Marshfield, MO, Michael (Teresa) Joyce of Strafford, MO, Thomas (Cristy) Joyce, Phillip Joyce; daughter-in-law, Jackie Pender; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Moll, Rheanna Moll, Carrie (Andrew) McClard Palmer, Cody McClard; two brothers, Bob (Gerry) Worley, Tom (Danielle) Worley; sister, Delores (Paul) Lohmann; eleven step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; 12 step-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; two brothers husband, Bill Joyce; son, Jesse Pender.
