Dear Editor,
Open your eyes. See them? Human beings struggling through out God’s creation: Black, brown and white, Every one brought into it with immaculate, shining bright souls. See? All the children laughing, playing. But something’s clouding our vision. I can’t quite make out: Wait, I see mothers and children, crossing a river to freedom.. sinking beneath the waves of indifference and fear. Frightened families fleeing through rubble from fear propelled projectiles. Massacred women and children, all the victims of hate and indifference and power and greed stoked lies. Open your eyes.
