A new law firm will soon be coming to Perryville.
Kreitler Law Firm will be opening its third office (the other two being in Festus and in Ste. Gen) in Perryville, at the Catalyst Center, on June 3.
“Kreitler Law Firm is a specialized legal practice focusing on estate planning, corporate law, and real estate law. Our mission is assisting clients with planning, preserving, and protecting their estates, businesses, and affairs,” Attorney Andrew Bauman said. “We build long term relationships with our clients to create plans and legal strategies based on each client’s unique situation and goals. I also assist clients navigating legal issues involving real estate, such as title issues, boundary disputes, and development objectives.”
Bauman will be stationed in the Perryville office full-time and is excited to move into the community and help the residents with their legal needs.
“This is a great community,” he said. “We want to help the people here any way that we can. We are excited to be here and I think we are in a great location that is easy to find and close to the Downtown Square.”
Among all the legal jargon that Bauman could talk with, he boiled it down quite simply.

“We like to take a comprehensive approach and we like to look through things thoroughly that an individual has and plan accordingly with that the objectives are,” Bauman said. “Most of the time we want probate avoidance and people want to make sure their families are taken care of. Everything comes down to the three P’s planning preserving and protecting. Those are the pillars with which we try to do everything.”
Kreitler Law Firm was founded in 2021 by James Kreitler and currently has nine employees, including two attorneys.
The client base is in the I-55 corridor from Perryville to Cape Girardeau up to Ste Genevieve and Festus.
In the coming weeks and months, Bauman will start hosting seminars for residents to help them learn about estate planning and other areas of law.
“It’s something that I am passionate about,” he said. “We will try to figure out exactly when it’s going to be. But, it’s something that we are working on starting up.”
Bottom line, Bauman just wants to make sure the client accomplishes their goal with what they want to do.
“If someone comes in and wants a will or trust done, we sit down and make sure we do what is best for them to help them leave happy,” he said. “Most of the time they want to maximize the value of whatever it is they are doing and we want to help with that.”
