Imogene Blechle

Imogene (Rainwater) Blechle, 88, of Perryville died Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Independence Care Center.
She was born July 26, 1935 in Brazeau, MO to John and Myrtle (Weisbrod) Martin.
Imogene and Albert Rainwater were married and he preceded her death. She later married Paul Blechle and he also precedes her in death.
She was a bus driver for SMTS. She also worked in the cafeteria and as a custodian at PCSD #32.
Imogene enjoyed playing bingo, putting puzzles together, gardening, flowers, dancing and cooking. Most of all, she loved spoiling her grandchildren.
She was a member of Brazeau Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include daughter, Rhonda (Dennis) Haskins of Springfield, MO; two step-daughters, Donna Abell of Perryville, Darla Blechle of Perryville; three step-sons, David (Donna) Blechle of Perryville, Dale (Kim) Blechle of Perryville, Dean (Connie) Blechle of Perryville; twenty-six grandchildren; fifty-two great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Albert Rainwater; husband, Paul Blechle; son, Mike Martin; daughter, Shelia Favier; step-son in law, Mark Abell; two sisters, Juanita Layton, Helen Anthony; three brothers, Robert “Tex” Martin, Johnny Martin, Vest Martin.
Memorial Service will be held at Brazaeu Presbyterian Church in Brazeau on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11 am with Chris Seah officiating.
Visitation will be at 10 am to time of service at 11 am at Brazeau Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Unlimited Play (Lucas and Friends).
