Earl Bruno Fritsche, 82, of St. Louis and formerly of Perryville, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at Delmar Gardens West in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Earl was born August 26, 1940 in Perryville to Walter and Lora (Feiste) Fritsche.

Earl served in 3 branches of the military, including the Army, Air National Guard,and the Army National Guard. After his military service, he became a trained electrician and worked at Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. He was a problem solver, entrepreneur and hard worker; in addition to his full-time electrician job, he ran a TV repair and satellite business. He was a self taught musician and enjoyed playing guitar and harmonica, singing old country and patriotic songs. During retirement, he wrote and published a song about 911 that was professionally recorded. He loved spending time with his family, siblings and grandchildren. Earl was well known for his joke telling, pranks, and strong convictions. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville and attended Pathfinder Church in Ellisville, Missouri in recent years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Milton and Harold Fritsche. Survivors include daughter , Jennifer (William) Webb; son, David (Amanda) Fritsche; daughter, Lora Fritsche; three brothers, Walter (Dyann) Fritsche, Willard (Kate) Fritsche, Gerald (Sandy) Fritsche; sister, Janet (Delbert) Fastenau; ex-wife, Susan Fritsche; five grandchildren, Courtney & Kayla Fritsche, and Nolan, Jesse & Maddox Webb. A visitation and memorial service was held at Pathfinder Church in Ellisville on Friday, July 7, 2023.
A visitation and memorial service was also held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville on Saturday, July 8, 2023. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund; this organization provided aid directly to Earl in the last year.
