Drug bust leads to a dozen arrests

An anonymous tip from an individual who allegedly witnessed what they thought was a drug deal going on at the Conoco gas station (312 South Kingshighway) led to a dozen arrests March 23 and 24 by the Perryville Police Department. Those arrested, ranging in age from 24 to 63, face a series of felony and misdemeanor charges. Each of those arrested face between one and four charges.
Those facing drug-related charges are:
Amy N. Howe, 39, of Perryville, has been charged with three felonies, which include trafficking drugs, distribution of a controlled substance in a protected location and possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid.
Kelsea S. Meyer, 28, of Perrvyille has been charged with two felonies, which are possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid and tampering with physical evidene in felony prosecution.
Tristan G. Peace, 24, of Perryville, has been charged with two felonies, including distribution of a controlled substance in a protected location, possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less and a misdemeanor for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ricky Williams, 60, of Perryville, has been charged with four felonies, which include four counts of possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannibinoid.
Cathy M. Keeton, 50, of Chester, Ill., has been charged with four felonies, which include four counts of possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannibinoid.
Katie L. Bromley, 29, of Perryville has been charged with four felonies, which include four counts of possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannibinoid.
Teri J. Lambert, 39, of Perryville, has been charged with a felony for possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid.

Kyle A. Green, 34, of Patton, has been charged with three felonies, which are delivery of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid and possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannibinoid.
Joseph D. Baggett, 59, of Perryville, has been charged with three felonies, which are three counts of possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannibinoid.
Matthew C. Martin, 35, of Perryville, has been charged with three felonies, which are three counts of possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannibinoid.
Donald R. Smith, 29, of Perryville has been charged with four felonies, which include four counts of possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannibinoid.
Johnny Asara, 63, of Perryville has been charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He was later released pending warrants or summons due to medical issues, according to the Police Department.
An initial investigation at the 300 Block of S. Kingshighway led to the arrests of Howe, Peace and Meyer, according to the police department.
During these searches, officers recovered a variety of illegal and controlled substances along with a large amount of drug paraphernalia, according to a press release.
Drugs recovered included methamphetamines, heroin, marijuana, clonazepam, fentanyl, alprazolam and lorazepam.
Howe, Lambert, Peace, Bromley and Smith remain incarerated in the Perry County Jail.
Meyer, Peace, Williams, Bromley, Lambert, Green, Baggett, Martin and Smith are all scheduled for a status hearing Tuesday, April 6, at 10 a.m. in the 32nd Judicial Court at the Perry County Courthouse with Judge Craig Brewer presiding.
