Bruce C. Hager, 77, of Frohna, Missouri passed Saturday, October 31, 2026 at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born June 1, 1949 in Seventy-Six, MO to Wilson and Lois M. (Price) Hager.
Bruce and Mary (Stroder) Hager were married November 21, 1992 in Marble Hill, MO. They were blessed with 34 years of marriage.
Bruce was tractor trailer driver for 42 years. He most recently drove for Flickerwood Farms in Jackson, MO and Steinbecker Livestock in Perryville. He was a hardworking man. When he wasn’t driving over the road he was working his cattle and fields on the family farm. Bruce was a staunch supporter of the East Perry Pub. He was a person that always told it like it was. He showed his family he loved them in his own way.
Survivors include four sons, Aaron (Amanda) Hager of Frohna, MO, Joshua (Jerry Scott) Hager of Trinidad, TX, Lucas (Kristin) Hager of Frohna, MO, Cody (Chelsey) Hager of Chicago, IL; three daughters, Julie (Joe) Fluchel of Burfordville, MO, Karrie (Matt) Zschille of Gordonville, MO, Krystal (Bob) Lovett of Brighton, IL; two sisters, Judy Duvall of Villa Ridge, MO, Mary Hunt of Altenburg, MO; eleven grandchildren, Madi Hager, Will Hager, Jackson Hager, Sloane Hager, Aly (Brendan) Crader, Lauren (Ryan) Padron, Keagan Zschille, Maklain Zschille, Opal Lovett, Ruby Lovett, Landon Lovett and expecting a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Diane Upchurch; brother-in-Law, Norman “Butch” Hunt.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Stroke Association.
