ARCADIA VALLEY — Perryville scored twice in the 6th inning and held on for a 5-4 win over Arcadia Valley on April 17. Gideon Stueve went 4-for-5 with 2 RBI, while Barrett Wheeler added 2 RBI.

Brendy Lutz scored twice, and Nolan Berhle, Waylon Huber and Gavin Mayor each drove in a run. Parker Shelton earned the win in relief, allowing 3 runs over 6 innings with 5 strikeouts.

Valle Catholic 4, Saxony Lutheran 3

BENTON — Saxony Lutheran used a 2-run 6th inning to break a tie and defeat Kelly 3-1 on April 15. Walker Short went 1-for-2 with a run and RBI, while Eli Rademann and Zach Roth each had 2 hits. Layton Hoehne drove in a run. James Hope earned the win, allowing 2 hits and 1 run over 6 innings with 6 strikeouts. Hoehne worked the final 2 innings.

DE SOTO — Perryville piled up 17 hits in a 9-6 win over De Soto on April 15. Bryce Weber went 2-for-6 with 4 runs and an RBI, while Bryce Schmidt was 2-for-6 with 2 RBI. Gideon Stueve added 3 hits and 3 RBI, and Nolan Berhle had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Gavin Mayor contributed a hit and RBI, and Waylon Huber also drove in a run. ELLSINORE — Saxony Lutheran scratched across the lone run in the 6th inning and made it stand in a 1-0 win over East Carter on April 14. Eli Rademann went 1-for-3 with an RBI, while James Hope added a double. Zach Roth earned the win, striking out 10 over 5.1 innings, allowing just 3 hits.

Rademann closed out the final 1.2 innings. Herculaneum 10, St. Vincent 1. St. Vincent dropped a 10-1 decision to Herculaneum on April 14. Tyler Hennemann had the lone RBI for the Indians, while Andrew Schumer, Andrew Hotop and Quentin Whistler each had hits. Schumer took the loss, allowing 9 runs (3 earned) in 3 innings. ELLINGTON — Saxony Lutheran erupted for 15 runs on 15 hits to roll past Ellington on April 13. The Crusaders scored 2 runs in the 2nd, 9 in the 3rd and added 4 more in the 4th to end the game after 5 innings.

James Hope went 2-for-2 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored, while Zach Roth finished 2-for-3 with 2 RBI. Eli Rademann added a double, 2 RBI and 2 runs, and Kai McDowell scored twice. Walker Short, Layton Hoehne and Samuel Janett each drove in a run, and Baylor Wilson added 2 hits and an RBI. Cole Roth earned the win, tossing 3 scoreless innings, allowing 0 hits with 5 strikeouts.
