With just five regular season matches remaining, the Saxony Lutheran tennis team remains undefeated as a team. The Crusaders have only lost eight sets across their ten victories on the season. They also went undefeated in two mid-season tournaments, the Cape Central Team Doubles Tournament and Jackson Varsity Doubles Tournament. Singles and doubles district tournaments begin in October. Head coach Amy Birk said stand outs this season include Aubrey Ostendorf and Katya Rust, who combined have only have only lost one doubles match all year, with Ostendorf still undefeated in singles competition.
