St. Vincent seniors Brie (right) and Kate Rubel were each presented with balls recognizing them for scoring 1,000 points in their careers at St. Vincent during pregame ceremonies ahead of a game against visiting Delta on Jan. 5.
Each of the sisters hit the mark in separate games against Saxony Lutheran last month. According to coach Mel Kirn, Brie also has more than 350 assists, and Kate has more than 500 rebounds. “They’re both doing a wonderful job for us,” Kirn said.
