Gerlie Cagampan German of Farmington and Joseph Glennon Tucker of Perryville were united in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim on Feb. 18, 2023.
Rev. Roger Steinbrueck, retired pastor of Trinity, performed the double ring ceremony.
Joyce Bock was the organist.
Trisha Cash was the photographer.
The bride is the daughter of Roger and Violeta German of Mangatarem in Pangasinan, Philippines.
The groom is the son of Rodney and Linda Tucker of Old Appleton.
The bride was honored to have her uncle, Ramon German, and her aunt, Rosita Daniels, present to give her in marriage.
The candlelighters were Rosita Daniels, aunt of the bride, and Linda Tucker, mother of the groom. Maid of honor was Mary Elizabeth (Mayang) Ozoa, friend of the bride. Best man was Adam Basler, friend of the groom. Flower girls were Kaylee and Khloe Scherer, daughters of a friend of the bride. Ring bearer was Kaden Kiefer, nephew and godchild of the groom. Bearer of the ring was Mandy Kiefer, sister of the groom. Ushers were Kurt Kiefer, brother-in-law of the groom, and Mohamed Azhari, friend of the bride.
Later that evening, a reception and dance were held at the old Sewing’s Restaurant location. Guestbook attendant was Pamela Garlejo. Polaroid attendant was Jerwin Garlejo. The meal was prepared by friends and family and consisted of a combination of Filipino and American dishes. Music was provided by Justin Jansen.
A rehearsal meal was hosted by the groom’s parents the previous evening at the church fellowship hall.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Mangatarem National High School Special Science Curriculum and a 2011 graduate of the University of Sto. Tomas. She is employed as a medical laboratory scientist at Mercy Hospital in Perryville.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Oak Ridge High School and a 2005 graduate of Universal Technical Institute. He is employed as a TPS engineer technician at TG Missouri in Perryville.
The couple is making their home in Perryville.
