St. Mary man seriously injured in four-wheeler accident

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a four-wheeler accident that took place at 6 p.m. July 6 on Perry County Road 846, resulting in a St. Mary man receiving serious injuries.

According to the patrol, the wreck occurred when a northbound 2019 Yamaha YFM ridden by Jesse W. Lincoln, 56, of St. Mary, traveled off the right side of the roadway and went airborne, ejecting the driver.

Air Evac transported Lincoln to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, where he was treated for his injuries. It is unknown if he was using any safety devices during the accident.

The four-wheeler, which reportedly received minor damage in the accident, was driven from the scene.
