The Saxony Lutheran cheerleading squad finished second in Class 2A-Large in the annual Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association State Cheerleading Championship held Nov. 1 at the University of Missouri’s Hearnes Center in Columbia. Macon finished first, and Notre Dame was third. The Saxony Lutheran squad is coached by Becky Wichern, along with assistants Sara Heise and Hali Hutter.
