Saxony Lutheran claimed the Class 1, District 1 Tournament championship on May 16 with a 4-0 victory over Maplewood-Richmond Heights. The victory sends Saxony to the Class 1 final four on May 31, where they will play the winner of District 4 Summit Christian and Mid-Buchanan at the Wide World Technology Soccer Park in Fenton. Saxony Lutheran finished third in Class 1 last season.
