The April Elks Student of the Month for Perryville High School is Logan Pingel.
Logan is the son of Shannon Pingel and Jennifer Pingel and the grandson of Rita Brewer, Van Pingel, Evelyn Keith and Albert Brunkhorst.
While at PHS, Logan has been involved in track and the STEM Club. He has earned several honors, including a varsity letter in track, the Foods and Nutrition class award and the Business Management class award. He is also set to graduate summa cum laude as a member of the senior class.
Teachers who have influenced Logan the most while at PHS are Mrs. Ernst, Mrs. Hendricks, Ms. Guebert and Mr. Hendricks.
Logan’s advice for underclassmen is simple: “Don’t stress about high school — just enjoy it.”
Following graduation, Logan plans to become an EMS pilot.
