Penny A. Meyer

Penny Ann Meyer, 72, of Perryville, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO, surrounded by her family.
She was born November 15, 1951 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Robert L. and Joyce A. (Lindsay) Clifton.
Penny and Bernard Meyer were married June 27, 1970 at Immaculate Conception Church.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Penny was a home maker, a former member of the America Legion Auxiliary and United Commercial Travelers. She also enjoyed doing crafts.
Survivors include daughter, Laura (Nathan) Ernst; brother, Joe (Lisa) Clifton; two sisters, Joana (Rick) Hoffman, Julie (Mike) Smith; two grandchildren, Paige Meyer and Greyson Ernst.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Bernie Wayne Meyer.
Visitation was Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and will continue on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 8-9:45 am at Ford & Young Funeral Home.
Funeral Service was Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Rev. Michael Benz officiating.
Burial was at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Lung Association or American Diabetes Association.
