What should a non-profit board member not do:
Fail to understand fiduciary duties
Fail to provide effective oversight
Avoiding hard questions
Avoiding transparency
Insufficient conflict management
Lack of awareness of laws governing tax exempts
Airing disagreements outside the boardroom
What should a public board do? Report conflict of interest and report executive salaries
IE: calling private citizens liars when running for hospital board. Is this even legal? Reading this is why we need Joe Hutchison. Please vote April 4, 2023 for change.
