Franklin Dee Medlin, 87, of Perryville, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at his residence.
He was born March 29, 1936 in Broseley, MO to Robert Houston and Margaret (King) Medlin.
Franklin and Carol Lee Davis were married July 15, 1963 at Cahokia, IL.
He served in the United States Army.
He was of the Baptist faith
Franklin was a truck driver and a member of the Local Teamster 600. He was a farmer and enjoyed raising race horses. Franklin enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include son, Robert Lee Medlin, Sr.; brother, Louie Medlin; three grandchildren, Robert L. Medlin, Jr., Lindsey M. Medlin, Joshua Medlin; two great-grandchildren, Nelle Medlin, Eleanor Medlin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
