Dorothy Ann Stock, 87, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 at the Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born June 26, 1936 in Cape Girardeau County to Nicholas H. and Nellie D. (White) Schwach.
Dorothy and Paul J. Stock were married on June 18, 1955. He preceded her on May 6, 2017.
Dorothy earned her nurses training in Pediatric Health Care at the Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle and of the Elks Lodge #2701, American Legion Post #133 Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus Council 1263 Auxiliary, all of Perryville. Dorothy was a faithful volunteer at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle and at the Crisis Nursery Center in Perryville. She enjoyed doing needle work, quilting, fishing, feeding the fish in her lake, Bingo and working in her beautiful flower gardens.
Survivors include four sons, Dennis M. Stock of Saint Louis, MO, Dale V. (Sherry) Stock of St. Charles, Timothy J. Stock of Perryville, MO, Thomas J. Stock of Perryville; three grandchildren, Jason Stock, Dale Stock, Jr., Jessica Stock.
