Dear Editor
Among other reasons, my presidential vote will be cast for Donald Trump because:
1. His policies are Pro-American, Pro-Constitution, Pro-Family, and Pro-Common Sense.
2. A 1.9 percent inflation under Trump was better than an 8 percent inflation under Biden/Harris.
3. Three percent mortgage rates under Trump were better than 7 percent mortgage rates under Biden/Harris.
4. A secure border and legal immigration under Trump were better than 11 million illegal immigrants under Biden/Harris.
5. A financially crippled Tehran under Trump was better than a fully funded Iran under Harris.
6. I’m not in favor of the chicanery of governmental-mandated gun buybacks. I will be keeping my guns, like everybody else in Perry County.
7. The national average of $1.50 a gallon of gas under Trump is better than the national average of $5.00 a gallon of gas under Biden/Harris. Under Trump, the country became a net exporter of energy for the first time in nearly 70 years.
8. My father taught me buying products from America, that are “Made in America”, is better than flooding our country with less expensive products that hurt Americans.
9. Donald Trump has a vision and the record of military strength bringing peace with no new wars during his presidency. Harris has a vision and the record that includes the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal of the Biden/Harris administration and the current chaos in the Middle East and Ukraine.
10. Donald Trump appoints judges that are founded on the US Constitution. Harris wants to pack the Supreme Court and return our country back to the Roe v. Wade days of abortion, where judges are the ones who come up with and legislate things that aren’t even mentioned in the Constitution.
11. Donald Trump wants US citizens to be able to control and afford their own healthcare. Harris wants government-provided and government-controlled healthcare, which would include the taxpayer-funded murder of pre-born children.
12. Donald Trump is either speaking or being interviewed three or four times a week, sometimes for over an hour at a time, bringing forth clear policies and specific plans. Harris rarely does any speeches or interviews and produces no clear policies or specific plans. She does, however, seem to laugh a lot.
13. Donald Trump has a proven record and policies backing law enforcement. Harris has gone on record, in a radio interview still available online, to “defund the police.”
14. Under Donald Trump, we had a $5 billion agricultural trade surplus because he negotiated new agriculture markets throughout the world, including Japan, China, Europe and African nations. With Harris and Biden in charge for almost four years now, we are now close to a $32 billion agricultural trade deficit.
15. We need a proactive Administration that wakes up early every day serving our country by helping American agriculture, American manufacturers, American workers, and by securing our borders, keeping government in their right lane, and allowing Americans “the right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
Perhaps one of your readers could compile a similar list of why they are voting for Kamala Harris.
