Billy W. Barks

Billy Wayne Barks, 77, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at his residence.
He was born May 11, 1946 in Silver Lake, MO to Perry and Martha (Wells) Barks.
Billy and Linda Wati were married July 30, 2007 in Cape Girardeau.
He served in the National Guard and was a truck driver. Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially loved farming and going to shooting matches.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Melissa Barks, Amy Barks; brother, Don Barks; sister, Shirley Barks; grandchild, Jackson Martin; special hunting buddy, Kyle Dumey; caregiver and special friend, Debbie Wengert.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Bey.

Visitation was Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Service was Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in with Kevin Barron officiating.
Burial was at Crossroads Methodist Cemetery in Sedgewickville, MO.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
